This song holds much more meaning than a simple tune. 

It's a challenge to humble ourselves, fall on our knees.  It's a melody of
Scripture, He taught us to love one another. It's a confrontation of
compassion, for the slave is our brother. It's a call to worship, in
grateful chorus raise we. 

As the Jews awaited the birth of the Messiah, so these girls await their
rescue. As He was delivered in that stable, so shall these precious children
be delivered from their captors. 

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me.... to bind up the broken
hearted and release from darkness for the prisoners..." Isaiah 61:1-3

This season is a time of anticipating and rejoicing in our Lord Jesus
