I don’t know about you, but I’m a dreamer. Once I get wind of something, I dream bigger and bigger until I need someone to bring me back to reality! Do you know what I mean? It’s like once God gives you a passion for something, you just can’t seem let it go. And I know that’s how all of us at Save Our Sisters feel. God is continuing to give us a big dream for S.O.S., but at the same time we are praying that He will continue to guide us in the everyday conversations, emails, and meetings.

In thinking about dreaming, I came across this quote yesterday and I thought it went along perfectly with S.O.S. This quote comes from one of America’s greatest heroes, Martin Luther King Jr. He said this during his famous speech “I Have A Dream”. And in S.O.S. we do in fact have a dream. A dream that one day each and every girl will be rescued from the pit of human trafficking and redeemed by Jesus’ love. A dream that each of our sisters will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and friend. A dream that they will be able to rejoice in the Lord and lean on HIM for their every need! Think about this quote today as you pray for your sisters around the world:

“Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children. And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

I love that quote so much! I feel like it really encompasses our dream and vision for Save Our Sisters. And know I ask this question: Will you dream with us?
