This winter has been another season of transition in the life and ministry of SOS. We are humbled and thankful for the progress which has been made in Moldova on the Hope Home. The expected completion date for the home is this coming May! We rejoice in the ways God has answered the prayers we have prayed for the last seven years and delight in watching dreams come true. What a faithful and loving God we serve, all praise and honor to Him alone! Below are few photos of the progress of the home:
In addition to rejoicing in the progress of the physical home in Moldova, we ask for abundant prayer over this spring season for SOS. One of our co-founders, Brianna Copeland, will be working along our long time ministry mentor Alvin Reid to complete the project of editing a print form of our story. This has been a long process over which we trust the Lord’s guiding for every page. We are hopeful for the plans which God has for this endeavor of sharing the goodness of His faithfulness to us over the course of the last seven years.
We are also hopeful for this summer as several of us return to Moldova along with friends and family to serve in the annual summers camp with Emmanuel Baptist Church. We anticipate a fruitful time of encouraging Emmanuel Baptist Church in their ongoing ministry and also sharing the light of the gospel with local teens. Our days will be spent in times of small group bible study, playing games with the teens through sports activities, and corporate worship each day. This has always been such an incredible time of growth in our lives personally and we pray many will come to know the saving grace of the Father this July.
On a more personal note, one of our co-founders married the love of her life, this December and is now Mrs. Brianna Copeland! The SOS team was elated to celebrate her special day. One of our other co-founders, Elise Moore is also engaged to be married this spring, so please join us in praying for her as well!
Please join us in prayer over each of these aspects of our ministry this spring. We trust that God is working during this time of transition in both our personal lives and the ministry of Save Our Sisters.
Our specific prayer requests include:
-Clarity of vision and word for the book project
-Trust in the Lord’s timing and placement of host family for the host home
